Salvatore aka Logic Fusion

The musical energy of artist/producer/dj SC stems from his birthplace of Athens Greece and his upbringing under the eternal Greek sun. As a teenager in the midst of the dj revolution, it was Salvatore’s passion for vinyl and decks that influenced his musical attitude. Later on, the explosion of the Acid Jazz and early House scene ultimately sparked his desire to become a professional deejay. The ability to take the audience on a musical journey through the eclectic choice of tunes keeps him on a high level of performance, which he passionately preserves throughout the whole time. With over 15 years of spinning, Salvatore has graced the decks both as a resident and guest deejay at many of Greece’s top venues including +Soda, Umatic, NoName, BarGuruBar, Mad, One Happy Cloud to name a few. He also maintains an annual guest at Lausanne’s Envers club, one of Switzerland’s most acclaimed venues.

Salvatore has been able to evince his musical influences not only via the deejay booth but also through the airwaves. For almost a decade he presented and produced his radio shows at some of Athens major radio stations such as Jazz FM, Nitro Radio and Status Radio. His playlists embodied tunes that varied from underground jazz soul and funk to contemporary dance electronica. The need for another medium to express himself musically pushed Salvatore to start producing. This seems as a natural transition and a way to reach worldwide audiences. Under the project of Logic Fusion Orkestra, Salvatore produces deeply influenced house tunes, a few of which have already been released on Next Dimension Music, WET Recordings and Prominence Recordings. “House music is not just a musical form. It is the medium that can take one to higher states of consciousness and appreciate the nature of brotherhood, self-esteem and mental revolution. The true meaning of love and respect.” Besides his undeniable passion for music, Salvatore is a physicist with a bachelor degree at Athens University and a specialty in relativistic quantum mechanics. “There is a common point between music and science: they both keep you seeking for better means to express what’s inside your mind and soul. Use your mind to explore the truth, use your soul to express your feelings. Use both to live in peace and harmony. Never underestimate the power of the unseen, because it is the unseen that sees all things…”

G-Spice

Entering the new millenium, G spice joined rising galaxy studios and started releasing tracks on labels like Grouper, KULT, Escada, Do it now, 2600 and Gotta keep faith records, getting big support from artists and djs like Carl Cox, Tedd Patterson and Dj spen.

Deep Nota Records

DNR , founded by Mickey K, is a collaborative creation of music minds dedicated in turning their own original, unique and soulful ideas into work of art. This indie label tends to reach the public by creating a somewhat different sound, leaning away from the monotonic elements by adding flavor and color to the final product. Built upon music experience the label offers consistent quality. Its structure is based on what is true in the world of art…Passion. Thru this passion, Producers/Djs, of whom this label consists of, being in the industry for a decade and going thru the hardship and reality of life by always being true to music, have found a steady inspiration to artistically create.

Our dedication to make things right is our fuel to make things happen. Deep House is what resides in our roots but we might deviate from time to time, traveling thru the evolution of music and the varieties it has to offer, digging thru the archives stamped in our heads, and developing that into a house track that we all could love.

Purple Music Inc.

Is a pure dedication to the house music where the vocal and soulful vibe reigns!

When 1997 Purple Music was founded in 1997, nobody could have guessed which way the House Community would strike. Jamie Lewis recognized early on that groovy vocal tunes would be for dance floor, so already the first productions were designed in this direction. Today Purple Music is regarded as one of the most influential house music labels of the past decade. An international artist-pool, such as for example Sandy Rivera, Bob Sinclar, Cerrone, Michael Watford, Robin S., Alfred Azzetto, , Michelle Weeks, Djaimin and many others have helped. A portion of releases undoubtedly belongs to the classics of the house music scene like Michelle Weeks “The Light” or Jamie Lewis’ & Michael Watford’s “For You”. Meanwhile, no one can shake on the competence of Purple Music in House Music matters.

In the years 2004 and 2005, the label was nominated by the unerring judges of the House Music Awards in London for their award. Among them was a nomination for Michelle Weeks' 2005-club-hit "Be Thankful," which was taken by the brothers De Laurentis as a soundtrack for the Italian comedy "Natale a Miami", which came at Christmas 2005 in the Cinemas.

Exprezoo Records

Exprezoo was born in 2006, initially as a digital/net label. The turning point and change the face of the Milanese creature came especially in 2008 when it reaches the exposure it deserves thanks to the new policy to appear to the vinyl records. Onset is a product by the brave duo Italian / Russian Alexxei ‘N’ Nig offering "Coming To Town"; the “folklore” house carried to the extreme, revisited by the greek Lemos and one of the top italian “new-talent”, Lorenzo Chiabotti. The support of influential figures come from the start and big names such as Brothers Vibe e Laurent Garnier realize the potential and quality of Exprezoo.

The two next 12” by Quike ("La Vie En Rose") and Santorini ("Burn Out", with a remix by The Selph) fully confirms the quality and value of this record label. “Burn Out "is perhaps the album of the consecration and beyond to attract great interest among the general public is supported by big artists like DJ Sneak, Danny Tenaglia! The fourth ep was assigned to one of the artist of the moment and part of the project Horacio, Dario di Pace aka Ragga Fonda (Rio Padice). Don Dragone becomes a must in the bag of djs with very different styles: among others, Luciano, Raresh, Dj W!ld, Robert Dietz, Gregor Tresher, Nima Gorji, Tiger Stripes have played and enjoyed the tracks of Rio Padice’ s EP. The next 12 ", "Thoughts of a ride" is signed by the excellent UES and contains a fine remix of Joss Moog, besides being already in the playlist Karotte, Carl Aaron and many others. Exprezoo alternates to vinyl, a section of well-made digital releases produced by artists such as Roberto Bardini, Decoside or the same UES and Ragga Fonda. The continuous interchange between techno and house elements and touch of old school are the real trademark beyond the constraints of “sounds” and trends of the market.

Exprezoo continues its growth, EXPV006, the second vinyl by Quike, "Freaky, Moody & Black Pack, " enters in the “Top 50” Deep House on Decks, confirming the increasing interest in the label of the train. But above all, the digital release EXP018 by Genny G is enjoying considerable success, especially the track "Chicago Trust" charted by djs such as DJ Hell, Milton Jackson, Phil Weeks and many others. The last act is the vinyl EXPV007: Alexxei 'N' Nig - I'm Making Disc Jockey EP, containing remixes by Brendon Moeller and Agnès. “...Since we gave birth to Exprezoo, we met many new friends, but when joining us there are people who looked like legendary heroes until some time ago, it's an amazing moment. Agnès and Brendon Moeller have always been among our primary influences...”

ABC Music

ABC Music is an undercover project from Amsterdam Netherlands aiming for" like-minded souls who love music". We want to be appreciated for maintaining quality in the broad sense of the word. Beautiful tracks, technology from past, present and future, and almost 20 years of electronic music experience are the ingredients to achieve that.

An outstanding level of audio content is published on SoundCloud and Mixcloud around the 15th of each month. Soon we’ll be live on iTunes as well. We find that a great set with a special collection of tracks, performed in a technical suburb way is a rare thing nowadays. We can do that better. We focus on ‘A Beautiful Collection of Music’, productions will follow when we think it meets the quality we strive to achieve and maintain. We've played at: Spindler & Klatt and Funturm in Berlin, Club Reina in Istanbul, Studio 80 Amsterdam, Club The Bridge Germany, Stubnitz, Club Cozy and Heineken Music Hall Amsterdam, Rock-it, Multigroove, Fusion of Dance, Land of Confusion, OnlyTechno and Groundzero festival.

Q-BURNS [Invisible Airwaves RS]

Q-BURNS ABSTRACT MESSAGE - Coaxing the maximum soul out of the machine

In the realm of dance music, there are few producers that thrive on blurring the boundary between eclectic experimenter and populist ass-shaker as much as Q-Burns Abstract Message. Equally comfortable covering Krautrock legends Faust or dropping his favorite chunky house grooves into the mix, Q-BAM—known to his parents as Michael Donaldson—is indeed the rare auteur. Whether globetrotting as a DJ, co-running the Eighth Dimension Records label, remixing artists like Rabbit in the Moon, Fila Brazillia and Youssou N'Dour, or recording his own original productions, Donaldson is all about the coaxing the maximum soul out of the machine.

Based in Orlando since the early-’90s, the former record shop owner and college radio DJ has spent the past two decades developing a sound that is obsessively devoted to the funk. His animated, vodka-soaked DJ sets have won audiences for the well-traveled Donaldson from San Francisco to (literally) Siberia, and landed him primo opening slots for GusGus, Chemical Brothers and Meat Beat Manifesto.

However, it’s his playful rhythms, surprising melodic themes and not-so-surprising Eno-esque textures that demand attention. An accomplished indie musician prior to releasing his first single as Q-BAM—the breakbeat noir of “141 Revenge Street” in 1995—Donaldson is first and foremost a songwriter, albeit one that is just as enamored with the sheer power of the groove.

With a trusty Roland Juno 106 synth at his side, Q-BAM released three full-length albums via the respected electronic label Astralwerks, including Invisible Airline which featured several collaborations with vocalist Lisa Shaw. He has recorded numerous singles for house-centric imprints such as Brique Rouge, Slip N’ Slide, NRK and of course, Eighth Dimension. Q-BAM was also one of the talented producers on alt-country icon Jim White’s 2001 Luaka Bop release No Such Place. The album cast White’s stark vocals in a wasteland of dusty beats and ghostly slide guitars, with Donaldson’s tracks providing some of its most intoxicating moments.

Though his “endless summer” schedule—more than 100 DJ dates annually—and ongoing production projects would seemingly exhaust a mere mortal, Q-BAM rather enjoys this 120-BPM soundtrack. Accordingly, Donaldson and fellow Orlando producer/DJ Atnarko launched the deep house label EIGHT-TRACKS, dedicated to releasing “strange sounds that you can dance to,” says Q-BAM himself. Additionally, house imprint Agave Records tapped Donaldson to throw down a mix CD titled Agave Nectar Vol. 1, available in fine records shops worldwide..

Currently, Q-BAM is hard at work with his monthly Invisible Airwaves radio show (syndicated to over a dozen stations worldwide) as well as studio and label duties, and his constant DJ touring schedule. Recent Q-Burns Abstract Message singles include the Italian-horror film inspired “Chainsaw” for EIGHT-TRACKS, a collection of remixes by Cole Medina and Presslaboys of the classic Invisible Airline track “Innocent” (featuring the vocals of Lisa Shaw), and a revamped “Balearic Chainsaw” with mixes by Q-BAM pal Scott Hardkiss. As if there wasn’t already enough deliciously warm and gooey queso already piled high on his plate, Q-BAM is also hard at work recording a slew of tracks for an upcoming mystery project, to be launched sometime within the year.

Monsieur M

Monsieur M was born in Istanbul, but raised in Athens from an Italian mother and a Greek rooted father!  He started experimenting mixing tapes at the first mini Hi-Fi back home. Various music genres and styles passed from him all the way to finally decide his favorite flavor. He was always trying to be associated with the upcoming trends but Dr. Dre’s “Nothin’ but a G thang” (The Chronic – 1992) shook him up back in 1996. From 2001 to 2006 he has been hosted at Venues around Athens and Radio Stations such as Planet FM and Atlantis FM but also in big events such as “The Athens Tunning Show” (2006) and “Step In The Arena – Mc Battle Show” (2007) dropping a blend of Underground Hip-Hop, Fat Beats, Oldschool / Newschool R’N’B. In 2006 he co-created his own team (The Benjamins) and started throwing his own events in some of the best Clubs in Athens. As his pursuit in music got deeper, his need for creativity grew bigger. After one last brief stint in Hip-Hop and R’n’B he focused deeply and exclusively in the roots of these sounds, such as Soul, NeoSoul, Funk, Rare Grooves and Underground Disco of the late 70’s and early 80’s. Getting involved with House was a natural step ahead - whether it was Soulful, DiscoHouse, Jackin, Afro. That's where he founds his actual shelter! He now prefers spinning a blend of DEEP, DEEP TECH and Nu-Disco. As a clubber and faithful to club culture himself he tries to provide the music he would like to listen and dance to, not merely through gigs but also through his “MAKE YOURSELF LIKE… HOUSE” Radio Show hosted in numerous radios in Greece and around the globe.

Rizon

Rizon has studied music theory for 6 years. At the age of 13 when he got his first computer and started experimenting with electronic music. Three years later he got the chance to play a full dj set at one of the hotspots of his hometown. Till now he has played at various clubs & bars around Greece.
