VA – Dj Nova’s Beach Call (Sound Vessel Records)
SVR and Radio DJ, Yiannis Nova Dorakis land a new, vividly beach compatible collection of tracks, both have been traveling parallel paths year now.
”Beach Call” is an ‘all day, all night’ vibrant compilation, 24h-use global oriented-ready soundtrack to cover any beach view DJ booth from the early daylight and lazy midday beach bar to beach club after hours ’til dawn.
DJ Nova created an intricate mixture which may have so many wildly different views on just what that might sound like. His choices covers part of back and recent SVR catalogue while he joints a bunch of unreleased material of deep, tech, progressive, dub, club, soulful and Afro-tinged house.
On this world’s beaches exist so many different cultures, points of view and trends from other for what’s the best beachside music.
Safar (FR) – Majaneen EP (Sol Selectas)

Sabo’s record label, Sol Selectas welcomes the return of French Afro house artist Safar (FR) who delivers a three-track EP.
Safar (FR) is back on Sol Selectas with his second solo EP for the imprint, he has also remixed a track by ARKADYAN, and released solo tracks via a number of the record label’s compilations.
Now a core member of the Sol Selectas family, Safar (FR) continues to dazzle with his organic tracks that combine the electronic sounds of his European upbringing with the tribal rhythms of his African heritage.
His vibrant and upbeat style fuses percussive flair with organic sounds and spellbinding synths to create compelling tracks that are perfect for the dance floor. His tracks and remixes can also be found on other influential record labels ranging from Stil Vor Talent to MoBlack Records.
“Majaneen” opens the release with a groove built around shuffling percussion and synths played in triplets. The track has a traditional African string instrument and organic flutes combined with off kilter synth chords, which combine to create a vibrant track with upbeat energy.
“Laafou” blends funky bass chords with live congas and powerful Gnawa vocals that fill the track with captivating emotion. It has a stomping groove that will get people stamping their feet to the rhythms of the heavy percussion.
“Escalera” closes the release with a chugging groove underpinned by a deep bassline and pitched tom drums. Dramatic bass chords and Arabic synths give the track an expansive sound that builds to the suspense of a sun-drenched breakdown, before the drums are reintroduced to release an exhilarating burst of energy.
Valentín Huedo – Escape LP (Music For Dreams)
The debut album from Ibiza-based DJ and producer Valentin Huedo is set to come out on July 26 on Music For Dreams.
The Escape comprises ten tracks covering a terrain from lush melodic downtempo and Balearic techno to punchy, exotic deep house—various styles and moods collected by Huedo through his residencies at Café del Mar, Blue Marlin, Ibiza Sonica and WooMoon. “From sunsets to dancefloors,” as Huedo describes it himself.
The music has been produced in close collaboration with producers and musicians in the orbit of Copenhagen-based label Music For Dreams, among them pianist and composer Troels Hammer, guitarist Jonas Krag/Santino Surfers, producers Walther & OliO, Kenneth Bager and DJ Disse.
Huedo was born and raised in Ibiza. Growing up surrounded by The White Isle’s rich culture of electronic music, he quickly became interested in the scene and went on to become the youngest ever DJ to play at the legendary Café Del Mar. After a ten-year residency at Café Del Mar, he became a resident DJ at the infamous Blue Marlin beach club. In 2016, he went on to Ibiza’s WooMooN, at which point he also began producing his own material. A track found its way to Ibiza luminary Kenneth Bager, whose label Music For Dreams took Huedo on.
Now, Music For Dreams are proud to be able to share Valentin Huedo’s debut album with the world. A record teeming with radiant and infectious electronic music, carrying the footprints of a remarkable 20-year deejaying career.
Birds of Mind – Miss You Babe Get Physical Music)
Birds of Mind continue to tease their upcoming Body Language compilation. ‘Miss You Babe’ is the third single from the duo’s tasteful selection.
Get Physical Music mainstays Birds of Mind, comprised of Alex H. and Adrian C., have already impressed with two tracks from their upcoming entry into the long-running series. The Paris-based duo have previously landed here with captivating house sounds like ‘Mi Pena’ and ‘No Time For Tears’, which came after their excellent full-length album on Kindisch in late 2021. As such, it is no wonder they often appear at the top of the Beatport Organic House chart with a sound characterised by its unique sensuality.
The enchanting ‘Miss You Babe’ has a delightfully deep house sound, with tumbling, soft-edged kicks and loose hand claps drenched in melancholic synth smears. Wordless vocals and subtly hopeful chord progressions slowly transform the mood and transport dancers into a world of late-night charm.
Fabian Krooss – Falling to Pieces (Flow Music)

Fabian Krooss drops a trippy melodic house release via Flow Music, which also features an indie dance remix by YAME.
Based in Berlin, Fabian Krooss is a German artist who is known for his majestic style of melodic house, which combines organic sounds with captivating synth melodies. This is Fabian Krooss’ first time releasing on Flow Music, and his music can be found on other respected record labels such as Stil Vor Talent, Sounds of Khemit and A Tribe Called Kotori.
On remix duty, YAME are a duo whose disco tinges and psychedelic style of indie dance has been featured on record labels ranging from Bar 25 to Disco Halal.
Flow Music is an Australian record label linked to the Flow Sessions podcast series and website with the same name as the record label. The imprint has previously featured tracks and remixes from the likes of El Mundo, Super Flu, Dave Seaman, and Dole & Kom.
“Falling to Pieces” is the solo original track on this release, and it combines shuffling percussion with sparkling melodies, and a trippy bassline that swells with tension building modulation. YAME’s remix of “Falling to Pieces” adds a new pulsating arpeggio synth and a psychedelic vocal that transforms their version into a distinctively unique interpretation.
