Alex Dittrich – Deeper EP (NOPRESET Limited)
Alex Dittrich is that dreamer boy who does not waste time just planning, his game is to go up and that’s what he has been doing for at least 7 years when he dived headfirst into the world of electronic music. Today he is part of the new generation of artists who have collaborated for the expansion of the Brazilian Minimal/Deep House scene showing versatility in his DJ sets and creative approaches in the studio work. Dittrich’s minimalist groove has arrived on labels like Whoyostro, Innocent Music, Habits Records, Rawsome Deep, Radiola and others, but you got to know that this is just the beginning.
K Civ – Morph (Nylon Trax Records)
K Civ ‘Morph’ is another excellent release from this talented, innovative, and forward thinking producer with the gift of creating stunning pieces of music.
Just a few seconds into the luscious Deep House of ‘Morph’ you immediately feel its constant and welcoming warmth that wraps you in its bombastic utopian bliss.
Oh, and that bass line is hypnotic, and you can quickly lose time while under the influence of this groove.
On Jaymz Nylon’s Afro Tech ReShape version, he not only builds on this epic release but lends his buttery baritone to add a welcomed narration on what we can accomplish as a people beyond the dance floor.

Zuma Dionys – Through the Valley EP (Sol Selectas Records)
Release Date: Friday 5 February 2021
02. Through the Valley
03. Busurman (German Brigante Remix)
04. Through the Valley (KEENE Remix)
Sabo’s label Sol Selectas starts 2021 with a welcome return of Zuma Dionys whose blend of mystic atmosphere and enchanted melodies has already proven popular with fans of the imprint.
Zuma Dionys has previously contributed to Sol Selectas mammoth Summer Sol compilations, but this time is back with a solo EP featuring two originals alongside remixes by German Brigante and KEENE.
Influenced by ancient history and ethnic instruments, Russian based Zuma Dionys has also featured on Pipe & Pochet, Cosmic Awakenings, Bar 25 Music and Souq Records.
Spanish artist German Brigante features his eclectic style on Sol Selectas for the first time following his many tracks and remixes for the likes of Saved Records, Sincopat, Get Physical and Diynamic.
KEENE are a talented duo of Berlin based brothers who in addition to releases on their own Cacao Records have also been a feature of other noteworthy imprints such as Culprit and Exploited.
Shamanistic vocals combine with earthy percussion and tribal rhythms and this charismatic EP ranges from downtempo to deep house with accordions, strings and other instruments all adding organic textures to the sequenced grooves that are expertly composed.
“Busurman” opens the release with Zuma Dionys trademark chugging groove and makes use of a distinctive accordion combined with a medley of tribal percussion. Based on a time travel concept, the synthesiser parts represent the visitor from the future talking with an indigenous tribe represented by the accordion and organic percussion.
“Through the Valley” has shamanistic vocal chants and throbbing synths layered over a down tempo groove filled with wonder. It paints sonic pictures of an epic journey passage through mountains and desert dunes on an adventure of discovery that allows time to soak in the beautiful landscape scenes.
German Brigante’s remix of “Busurman” focuses on streamlined use of the percussion and poignant pads from the original and restructures them into a refined version with a stripped back aesthetic. Giving the parts space to breath adds new depth to this expertly crafted version.
KEENE’s chunky tribal house remix of “Through the Valley” lifts the tempo that pays homage to the original. Creating an energetic percussion loop that moves like determined footsteps through the desert, their version hits a peak in the breakdown that lifts the mood with an invigorated energy perfect for any dance floor.

The NZ based producer’s latest project, born out of the volatility of 2020, merges various styles of electronic music, to offer a thought-provoking album, challenging the heavy main stream programming of this generation.
Each tracks aim to dissolve the illusionary forces holding us to meaningless narratives and diluted culture.
From downtempo, hip hop, minimal, house and experimental electronica, the album is an invitation to choose your own preferred timelines, switching off auto pilot, and harnessing the power of being present in the now.

Ed Ed feat Chasing Kurt – Naked Walls (Get Physical Music)

Berlin based Ed Ed is Edmond Weinfeld, a producer and DJ of 20 years who has released his his unique house sounds on imprints including DFCTD and OFF Recordings as well as, most often, Moodmusic. Here he joins forces with German three piece, Chasing Kurt, the revered production outfit who’s music has been at home on Suol, Defected, Peppermint Jam and many more.
‘Naked Walls’ is a stripped back and wonderfully warm production, built around subtly uplifting melodies and understated drum programming, all of which provides the perfect base for Chasing Kurt’s emotive and beautiful vocal performance. This has the feel of a future classic from the off with its heartfelt musical progression and touching lyrical content. The original is accompanied by an instrumental version for those who likes things vocal free.

Nhii – Theme Of A Multiverse EP (Words Not Enough Music)
Nature possesses infinite powers in its immensity and Nhii knows very well how to absorb such energy to insert into his music. We are honored to receive the talent of this German producer who owns a unique, powerful and borderless sound signature on our label, helping us create a new perspective on electronic music.
In this work he delivers us two great Tracks. “Theme of a Multiverse” reflects perfectly the use of different cultures he prints in his music, bringing sounds from different parts of the world, creating a kind of collective celebration where the rhythm is dictated by love. “Flower of Thale Cress” follows the serene walk of the previous track, but presents a more enigmatic tone with the presence of forest textures and ethnic instruments throughout the track.
Embark on this journey with Nhii.
Lucky Sun feat Alison David – Deep Love (Lucky Sun Recordings)
Lucky Sun (Tom Lown) and vocalist Alison David join forces to deliver the fresh new single “Deep Love.”
Sounding like summer never ended, “Deep Love” grooves from the very start, sounding like a cross between Lovebirds and Crazy P, and opens up into a deep house masterwork with soulful, Balearic leanings.
Alison David (Red Snapper, The Black Science Orchestra, Bugz In The Attic) pours positive vibes into the track with a storytelling style of spoken word and singing. Her lush vocals compliment the gently drifting strings and catchy synth lines creating the warmest of ear worms.
The release includes a special remix from Alvaro Hylander (DeepWit Recordings). Alvaro, originally from southern Spain, now residing in Belgium, graces the track with his signature deep, warm, and organic sound, making perfect use of the original’s vocals and instrumentation. Top notch all around.
