Tome continues to push the standard for quality music featuring a collab with up and coming Croatian talent, Juri Paik and a remix by Dutch powerhouse, Lauhaus, who has been making waves with his recent releases. We also welcome none other than Cyclic Records founder Mihai Popoviciu who wraps up this four track masterpiece by delivering thick grooves on his remix for “Shadow Line”.

Reno Wurzbacher – I’ve Learned From You EP (Get Physical Music)

Ahead of the Berlin Gets Physical album to be released on August 23rd comes an excellent EP with one track from it, and one other original, both by Reno Wurzbacher.
Reno Wurzbacher is a Get Physical family member and Berlin native who has a small but well-formed discography. His deep house is a reflection of the cultured scene around him and has also taken him to labels like Colombage and STEP Rec..
The tender ‘I’ve Learned From You’ has heartbreakingly sombre piano chords and melancholic strings layered over a deep beat. Pained vocals add to the feeling of beautiful sadness and bring real class to this exquisite track.
Next is ’Trust’, a breezy cut which builds suggestively through loose percussion and nimble drums, with rising pads bringing the soul. It’s a lush, musical track that keeps you guessing and never fully erupts, instead teetering on an emotive
summery vibe and keeping you locked.
This is a cultured EP that provides a tantalising taster of the Berlin Gets Physical that is to follow.
