Nau Squaglia – Midnight Blues Remixes (Earthly Delights)

Earthly Delights is a deep and organic house record label. Their new release is the second part of their recent album by Nau Squaglia.

The new release features new remixes of the album’s tracks by an impressive array of artists including Sealtian, Sides, Agustin Ficarra, Francesco Mami, Maezbi, Tayu, Purpura, Arteforma, Ivan Sandhas and Monner.

Ranging in style from atmospheric deep tech to uplifting melodic house, there is a new remix for each of the original tracks on the release. Many of the artists are up-and-coming talents, but there are some established names such as Francesco Mami of labels such as Abracadabra Music, Katermukke, Watergate Records, Crosstown Rebels, Stil Vor Talent and Bar 25 Music.

Most of the remix artists are making their Earthly Delights debut, but there are also some existing label favourites including Tayu and Sealtian.

Although many of the remix artists are emerging talents, individually they have contributed tracks and remixes to other noteworthy record labels such as Get Physical, Kindisch, Magician On Duty, Seven Villas and Mango Alley.

Nau Squaglia’s original tracks have soothing synth textures and crisp percussion that he combines with uplifting melodies to create dancefloor orientated tracks. Staying true to the originals, the new remixes breathe fresh life into this master-crafted release.

Soire, aka Moe Turk, returns to Ready Mix Records with label release number 262, an immaculate Deep House cut titled ‘Stylish’, presented with remixes by BiG AL and Kanedo & Deephope.

No stranger to the Ready Mix label, Soire delivers another slice of smooth goodness with ‘Stylish’, a truly dapper, slow-building groove with warm, rhythmic chord stabs and subtle percussion leading the way toward chilled electronic bliss.

Ready Mix founder and all-around good guy (and yes I’m paid to say that, but it’s true), BiG AL summons up yet another mercurial twist, taking ‘Stylish’ into meditative yet vibey territories, equally perfect for the warm-up or warm-down session.

Kanedo joins forces with fellow Barcelona-based producer Deepphope for the second remix of ‘Stylish’, supplying more beach-friendly vibes, adding dubbed out mournful pianos and atmospheric chords in the breakdown to subtle spine-tingling effect.

Inflair – Authenticity EP (Origins Records)

Josh Butler welcomes fresh talent to his prominent Origins imprint in the form of Inflair who unleashes a highly danceable and strong four track EP titled ‘Authenticity EP’

With pristine and clear production the future is clearly bright for the young up and coming UK artist Inflair, who has previously released on Satori London along with self releasing via his own Bandcamp page, and now he steps it up with a very strong release via Butlers Origins imprint.

The first track on the EP is called ‘Keep It Real’ which blends the realms of house and deep house and is full of elegance. Its deep and rolling feel is one that will have floors moving and people smiling from its uplifting and energetic feel.

Next up is ‘Sunrise’ where Inflair takes things deep and emotive. Swirling pads and pushing chords form the basis of this track and this is a classy affair that’s perfect for when the need for a certain chic ambience is required. Following on from this is the aptly named ‘Sunset’ which is a lucid dream pad laden journey of deep house which is the perfect sound for when the sunset is setting and people are getting ready for a night out.

To finish off this excellent EP is ‘Tell Ya’ where Inflair adds some breakbeat to this EP and delivers a track loaded with depth and a subtle power that will work in many situations. It’s a beauty to listen to and also throw into a set when playing to a crowd who are up for a journey and experience quality music that is anything but generic.

Dm (Mx) – Nature (Happy Camper Records)

Happy Camper Records is a Dutch organic house record label founded by Unders, Noraj Cue and Britta Arnold. Its latest release features a mystical original track from Dm (Mx) alongside remixes by The Soul Brothers, Ape Chimba and Unders.

Dm (Mx) is the solo production alias of Mexican artist, Dani Muñoz, who is best known for being one-half of The Soul Brothers duo. His style is a unique blend of organic sounds and analogue music equipment and along with releasing via his own Talavera Records, he has also featured tracks on Cafe De Anatolia and Lump Records.

Along with providing the original music as a solo artist, Dani Muñoz has also provided a rework under his alias The Soul Brothers, which is a collaborative project with fellow Mexican artist Tomás Encorrada. The Soul Brothers tracks have been released via the likes of Sol Selectas, Abracadabra Music, and Magician On Duty. This remix is true to their style, which blends traditional instruments from their Mexican heritage with modern electronic sounds.

Unders provides two remixes on this release, one is a solo dub rework, and the other is a collaborative remix with Ape Chimba. Unders is well-known for his DJ sets at places like Burning Man and for his top-selling productions on prestigious record labels ranging from Sol Selectas to Katermukke.

Ape Chimba is a Spanish artist from Ibiza whose spellbinding style of downtempo and organic house can be heard on labels such as Resueno, Chill Mountain and Pino Music. He is a respected DJ in Ibiza’s thriving organic house scene and this is his first time collaborating on music with Unders.

The original mix of “Nature” opens the release with hypnotic percussion that’s infused with psychedelic sounds that give its techy groove a trippy atmosphere. The track builds with intensity as it unfolds with the steady momentum of tribal rhythms.

Unders & Ape Chimba remix of Nature restructures the original while also adding a vocal chant that creates a new dimension to the track. They also bulk out the percussion to add extra drama that lifts the intensity to the next level.

Third on the release is Unders’ dub which is very similar to his rework with Ape Chimba, but he removes the vocal elements to let the percussion take full control.

Closing out the release is The Soul Brothers remix, which lessens the groove to add shuffling percussion and a funky bassline that brings an uplifting vibe to the intensity of the original.

Going My Way is a true Summer Theme, which can be played out through out the day or even afterhours. Moe Turk gives it a more edgy dance floor remix, which is perfect for any Dj Set. While L.G.V remix is on a steady drift that is addicting and catchy.

Yves Murasca & Rosario Galati have always been integral to the Déepalma journey. Two of the most featured artists on one of dance music’s highly respected underground stables, their latest collaborative offering is charming, spirited and will speak to your senses.

‘Inner World’ is an instantly refreshing record with reflective capabilities. It carries subtly pulsating grooves to match your circadian rhythm, complemented by reflective, melodic layers, crisp percussive drive and meditative vocal strands from start to finish.
