Wassu & Adisyn – Sun Kissed Computer EP (When We Dip XYZ)

When We Dip’s label XYZ are back with a soothing deep house release by Anjunadeep’s Wassu & Adisyn of Kindisch and Akbal Music.

The collaborative release brings together these incredible young talents who combine for the first time with the three tracks on this EP.

Both of these American artists have been prolific, with Wassu being a part of New York’s underground, and Adisyn bringing the blissed-out vibes of the Miami sunshine.

Wassu & Adisyn waste no time on this release which is melodic and minimal with shimmering synths and glistening tones nestled upon a sub-bass groove.

“Sun Kissed Computer” harnesses characteristics of timeless house music that has proven irresistible through the years. “Full Moon” entices us into a daze with swirling melodies, and “Cyclone” caters to dark rooms with the rise and fall of its searing piano chords.

Veteran Greek producer and DJ VieL returns to Ready Mix Records for release 235, a smooth and atmospheric track titled ‘Expressive Eyes’, presented with remixes from MiRET, Paul2Paul, BiGz and Ruh (SE).

Title track ‘Expressive Eyes’ is typical of VieL’s melodic, languid production style, fusing Eastern vocal and string touches with sweeping, drone-like pads to summon up a delectably dream-like vibe.

Mexican-born, Barcelona-residing producer MiRET’s rework of ‘Expressive Eyes’ provides an intriguing departure from the original, laying down a bouncy, robotic groove over which juxtapose the track’s warm organic essence to great effect.

Ready Mix Records founder and Large Kahuna, BiGz rolls out some delightfully syncopated percussion and transforms ‘Expressive Eyes’ into a light and graceful groove, full of subtly deft twists and turns.

Artist on the rise Paul2Paul turns in a spellbinding version of ‘Expressive Eyes’, featuring his trademark melodic arpeggios and live strong flourishes which take the tune into deep dance- floor territory.

Finally, and swiftly becoming a Ready Mix regular, Ruh (SE) provides a hypnotic arrangement, patiently building up a compelling groove, adding extra flutes and strings in a spin-tingling breakdown, then cutting loose and flying off into the stratosphere.

Leeu – Hugs & Cuddles Part.1 (Les Disques Au Bord Du Lac)

Hugs & Cuddles Part.1 is a song composed by Leeu, a South African music producer hailing from Johannesburg whos Suidtronica imprint made its place in the country of kwaito and deep house.

The song was written over a few years and finished off during lockdown. It is a balance of melancholic melody’s accompanied by intelligent grooves that reminds us of the softness and delicate approach he brings into each of his productions. Hugs & cuddles Part.1 serves as a warm blanket of love to keep us feeling positive in these dark times.

Five remixes complete this summer release with a journey starting from Johannesburg with Jazzuelle and China Charmeleon with a stopover in Ezulwini in Swaziland with !Sooks to land finally in Geneva with a very deep house techno remix from Garance. The EP includes a beautiful jungle liquid bonus remix by Sable Blanc from Paris with the beautiful vocal of singer and photographer Kelly Makropoulos alias Lover Buffet.

This forthcoming Summer EP will offer a preview of all what was missing the most last months Hugs & Cuddles from our lovers.

Ucha – Hologram EP (Leisure Music Productions)

Leisure Music are more than happy to welcome back on the label a true friend and fantastic producer and DJ from Georgia.

This time Ucha crafted a solo melodic techno EP for our label called Hologram.

The EP features 2 beautiful soundscapes filled with Uchas smooth groove, elaborate synth elements and fantastic progression and percussive elements.

Hologram kicks it off with the main synth melodic element in this track which evolves sometimes higher and louder and sometimes disappears within its progression. Followed by a very smooth kick and various shakers, HH’s and FX, Hologram unfolds as a wonderful sensitive journey into melodic techno. Underlying Organ and various synth stab elements interchange with the ever evolving basic and beautiful Hologram melody. We wish to be in this Hologram..

The second track is called Syndrome and starts off a little bit more rapid and technoish sounding with fast hitting closed hats and deep punchy kick. A driving bassline and synth fx drive the track forward. Synth elements and drum hit as well as Ucha’s smooth groove make you want to dance immediately.

Antton – Pianos & Ibiza Dreams (Tropical Velvet)

Tropical Velvet is pleased to announce the return of Antton to the label who delivers a sun-drenched, vibe-laden piano workout.

The Afro mix leverages crisp percussion and a flowing arrangement that builds to an island-sunset breakdown, the beats kicking back into a shimmering piano hook before the percussive elements are given free reign.

The Chicago House mix features synth-work, interleaving cleverly with the up-front piano, for a more minimal dancefloor approach while keeping those dreamlike qualities to the fore, evoking Balearic memories and anticipating good times yet to come.

Milion – Pipe Dream EP (Heavy House Society)

Dropping its second release of the year Sidney Charles’s Heavy House Society, brings up & coming Dutch artist Milion for his debut on the label with his Pipe Dream EP.

Having grown up in Eindhoven in the Netherlands and having always had a love for deep grooves and funky music, his own style can be described as deep with rolling bass lines. In 2020 Milion had his first release on Whoyostro, and has since had a top 10 in Minimal chart on Beatport and has released on labels like Blind Vision, Distance Music, Airtime and now Heavy House Society.

For his debut release on Heavy House Society, he releases his Pipe Dream EP, an edgy 3 tracker laced with groove, funk and an underground feel. The first and title track of the EP is Pipe Dream. With its shuffling beats, grooving bassline, and melodic synths delivering the smooth and uplifting feel, this is set to deliver the good times on dance floors this summer.

The second track of the EP is Mentality. With its rolling bassline instantly forming the groove, combining with an intricate chord pattern, low atmospheric pads and delicate vocal cuts, this again packs another punch for the floor this coming summer.

The third and final track on the EP is Feelin’ Low. On this track Milion brings the funk, starting off with funk guitars, giving this a certain skip and bounce right from the off, this is one that’ll get people smiling and grooving all day and all night long.

Sidney Charles shows his excellent A&R skills and brings in fresh and exciting talent to Heavy House Society with yet another essential release on the label.

Hart & Neenan feat Elliot Chapman – Do It Again EP (Do Not Sleep Records)

Do Not Sleep welcomes back UK duo Hart & Neenan back to the label with their second release on the always edgy label and again features the vocal talents of Elliot Chapman.

Having released on Do Not Sleep last May, a year later the duo return to the label with another quality collaboration with Elliot Chapman, with Do It Again, a classy uplifting vocal house track with a rolling deep flavour and they drop a 2nd track, Kajima, providing a smooth and sexy flipside.

On the remix front Do Not Sleep bring in label favourite and Avotre owner, Santé, and also welcome Mick Wilson and August Artier to the label, who have been creating waves with their Kisetsu series on RAWAX Digital.
Santé’s remix uses Chapmans vocals to full effect, layering them over an uplifting house beat groove, with a pulsating saw bassline, opening and closing the filters on the channel to deliver the perfect amount of tension for getting crowds going for it again…

Mick Wilson and August Artier taking things on a more underground trip, with working the vocal in to an excellent minimal deep track with plenty of dynamics in the sound, which will work for the more underground dancefloors this summer

This is a superb follow up from Hart & Neenan, and with 2 super strong remixes to boot makes this a must have and must listen to release this summer.
