Jarl Flamar – Ko Samui (Flamar Records)

Jarl Flamar is back on his record label Flamar Records with a trippy organic house release that combines live percussion with ethereal pads and an acid bassline.
Flamar Records is a relatively new label and all five of its releases have featured music by Jarl Flamar, who has also featured on other respected record labels such as MONADA and Baikal Nomads.
Hailing from Nantes in France, Jarl Flamar is a skilled musician and live artist who combines real instruments with electronic sounds, and this release has the psychedelic atmosphere that is trademark to his style.
He already has an international following that has seen him play gigs everywhere from Germany to Asia, and “Ko Samui” is the solo track on this spellbinding release.
“Ko Samui” has a short percussive intro, then the acid tones of the track’s chunky bassline are layered with tropical atmospherics, and the angelic pads start to build spine-tingling euphoria. Congas, shakers and other live percussion fill the track with a dance floor focused energy, and the drums become more prominent during the suspense of the breakdown. When the kick drum hits back in, the percussion comes to life with upbeat tribal rhythms leading the track to a tantalising finish.

Ready Mix Records is delighted to welcome Argentina’s Hernan Cerbello back for our 279th release with his electrifying single, ‘Conscious.’ This release features two outstanding remixes by Hungary’s legendary Robert R. Hardy and Russia’s ever-amazing St.Ego.
Hernan delivers a Progressive House masterpiece with ‘Conscious.’ Perfect for the dancefloor with its undeniable energy, this track features warm analog production, beautiful atmospherics, syncopated rhythms, a rolling bassline, and hypnotic harmonies, all complemented by a vocal that creates an immersive experience.
Robert R. Hardy takes the track into deeper territory while preserving the essence of the original. His remix is a masterful re-imagination that brings his unique touch to the track. Hardy infuses rich textures, deeper grooves, and subtle nuances, making it perfect for those moments when you want to timelessly get lost in the music.
St.Ego extracts all the melodies from the original and adds his own compositions and signature touch. His remix is a brilliant transformation that enhances the track’s emotional depth and melodic richness.

With a multi-page discography of releases dating back over 15 years, Demarkus Lewis is one of the hardest working men in house music, regularly adding to his diverse string of underground floor fillers.
Mastering many house styles, Demarkus has released House bombs on Nervous Records, soulful nuggets on Kingstreet Soundz, hypnotizing afro-rhythms on Slip n Slide, and everything in-between on his own Grin Music imprint. Demarkus returns once again to his home-away-from-home Viva Recordings for the enchanting “Starlite.”
Bubbling basslines, smooth synths and tight vocal snippets by Demarkus himself move this one right along.

Einfakinn, El Maar, Fynolla, and Viktor join forces for “Atlantida Calling,” a deep house odyssey soon to be unleashed on The First Call.

Finally, the time to present one of our favorite releases has arrived! ‘Silver’ is the latest EP from prolific producer Alexander Bollinger, this time arriving with an all-star cast on remix duties: Music P & Marque Aurel, joined by Lafreq.
On both original tracks, ‘Silver’ and ‘Bringing Life’, you’ll find captivating melodies and lush vocal atmospheres that slow down time immediately… Their slow grooves warm the vibe without any hurry, letting the harmonies find their space in a perfectly timed arrangement – definitely proper beach friendly music.
On remix duties, we’re so happy to host Music P again, this time joined by Marque Aurel. This tag team with the Ibiza-based producer has delivered one of our best tracks in the catalogue with their Silver remix – using the original vocals to trigger a mysterious atmosphere, a powerful and emotional journey begins. Percussive, Afro House inspired grooves driven by a beautiful chord progression set the tone, surrounded by dynamic, electronic synth drops building up a climax that convert this track on a must for this summer and beyond.
Closing up the EP, our label regular and good friend Lafreq twists ‘Silver’ into a soft, smooth chilled House gem with his signature approach to Deep House music.
