Hess Is More – You Don’t Dance (Kenneth Bager Remix) (Music For Dreams)

Kenneth Bager sends Hess Is More into the stratosphere with new ‘You Don’t Dance’ remix.

The original song was released on Hess Is More album ‘CÆKE’ earlier this year on Bager’s label Music For Dreams. Bager fell in love with the track: a cheeky little synth melody and the oddball fortune cookie mantra: “You don’t dance because you’re happy/You’re happy because you dance.”

With his own remix of the track, Bager has put the emphasis on the dance-part. The muted indie-style production has been traded in for a bona fide post-disco rig, teeming with funked-out percussion loops and mischievous little twists to Hess’ ingenious synthwork.

The remix is released August 27th on Music For Dreams.
