Amine K feat Robert Owens – Tinker Bell (Get Physical Music)
Amine K is Morocco’s leading house music ambassador. He has been a pioneer in his local scene for many years and is now as well known on the international circuit for his organic sounds on labels like Sol Selectas, Monaberry and Do Not Sit On The Furniture. Here he links with Robert Owens who has been voicing house music since the 80s and continues to add his signature sounds to only the finest records.
The wonderful ‘Tinker Bell’ is one of those: it is an electrifying house cut with sleek synth designs that twist and turn above the groove. The smoky, rousing vocal tones of Owens add real soul and are sure to captivate hearts and minds.
Remixing it are WAHM whose alias means ‘illusion’ in Arabic and is in reference to music’s effects on brain functions. The live electronic duo is composed of two multi-instrumentalists with a passion for blending different
musical styles on this label as well as the likes of Diynamic. They flip ‘Tinker Bell’ into something more stripped back and raw with crisp tech drums and snappy snares brought to life by the thought-provoking Owens vocal.

Opening with title track, ‘The Vibe’ bumpty drums give way to deep rhodes and a pulsing stab. Growing in tension through the opening section, the track reaching critical mass with a polyrhythmic keys and spoken vocals.
‘Alter Ego’ is a little more upbeat. Dubby stabs and a splashy hat groove work harmoniously to power the track while warm jazzy arps and airy synth washes create audio candy.

Daniel Hokum is back on the It’s Good To Be A Tree record label with a magical organic house release that has jazz undertones and beautifully sung vocals.
This is the third time that Daniel Hokum has featured on It’s Good To Be A Tree after previously contributing a track to two of the imprint’s compilations, but this time he is back with a solo release. He is a skilled musician that combines intricate musicality with electronic music production to create spellbinding tracks that are awe-inspiring.
In addition to his previous contributions to It’s Good To Be A Tree, Daniel Hokum has also released his music via other respected record labels including MONADA, Underyourskin Records, • kosa •, LNDKHN and Serafin Audio.
The release’s title track, “Reves Inassouvis,” is a majestic composition with emotive vocals and shimmering guitar flutters layered over tense pads and a deep bassline. The captivating groove is augmented by dramatic bursts from a swath of string and wood wind instruments.
“Desert Echoes” is a stunning track with haunting vocals and a vibrant clarinet layered over flowing percussion, tinkling atmospherics and string sweeps. It finds the perfect balance between dance floor focused energy and heartfelt emotion.

After his successful release ‘Marina’ earlier in the year, Markuss joins forces with gorgeous vocalist Sabryna presenting together ‘Pensami’.
