blue Dietrich & gingembre (Baikal Nomads)

Release Date: Friday 25 November 2025
Format: Digital

Baikal Nomads presents an organic house release with melodic grooves and trippy atmosphere by gingembrę and blue Dietrich.

It’s the first time that gingembrę and blue Dietrich have collaborated, and it’s also each of their debuts on the Baikal Nomads record label. They first made contact via Murmure Records, where they have released their individual music, alongside doing A&R for the imprint.

blue Dietrich is a Brazilian artist living in France, his progressive style of organic house infuses jazz influences with melodic synthesisers and crisp percussion. He is a skilled DJ whose productions channel his knowledge of the dance floor, and his tracks have been released by respected record labels such as • kosa •, Bar 25 Music, and Cafe De Anatolia.

gingembrę is a downtempo artist from Germany, and his smouldering style has a growing suspense with majestic melodies and immersive atmosphere. He has an international fanbase, and has played shows everywhere from Burning Man to Landjuweel in Amsterdam. gingembrę’s tracks and remixes can be found on imprints including Magician On Duty, down., Serafin Audio, and MONADA.

“Thou Shall Believe in Witches” is the collaborative original track on the release, and it’s got a magical vocal sample that fits with the spellbinding vibe of its soaring pads and throbbing bassline. gingembrę’s solo rework of the second track “Planes Are Fireflies” drops the tempo and strips back the drums to let the enchanting synths cast their hallucinatory spell. blue Dietrich also delivers a solo version of “Planes Are Fireflies,” defined by shuffling drums and a jazzy bassline with distorted tones.

Ellroy – White Layers (Ready Mix Records)

Release Date:
November 7th 2025 (Beatport Exclusive)
November 21st 2025 (Worldwide)

Ready Mix Records continues its impressive run with release number 291, and this one’s a real statement.

Montreal-based producer Ellroy returns with ‘White Layers’, a high-octane slice of modern progressive house that hits with both precision and passion.

In top form, Ellroy fires on all cylinders with his signature high-energy progressive sound, a fusion of rhythm, tension and floor-focused power. A driving bassline anchors the track beneath shimmering synth layers and a crisp production, while pulsating rhythms and evolving textures create a hypnotic sense of momentum. It’s that perfect late-night burner built for the peak hours when the crowd locks in as one.

On remix duties, the ever-reliable Jelly For The Babies takes the reins and re-imagines ‘White Layers’ with his own brand of deep, groovy sophistication. Adding extra swing and fluidity to the drums, he injects a moody vocal sample, giving the remix a cinematic, mysterious edge. The result is a rework that is groovy and explosive, pure Jelly magic.

Whether you’re a progressive purist or a groove-driven selector, ‘White Layers’ deserves a spot in your bag.

Massiande – Essential EP (Fluid Funk)

Release Date: 07/11/2025

Punching in with his debut vinyl EP for Fluid Funk, Chilean house producer Massiande follows up to a string of head-turning releases on an array of labels, including Jimpster’s Freerange Records. His much anticipated new offering, “Essential”, packs all the attributes of his vivid, floor-focussed vision, taking us on a bouncy ride across densely forested coastal house scapes and heavy-lidded electronics. Draped in washed-out pads and cottony textures, Massiande’s tracks have us floating in a chromatic daze of sorts, light-hearted and somewhat nostalgic, but above all hopeful and resilient.

A textbook slab of Massiande’s ever-expanding palette of woozy house tropes and silken disco touch, A1 “Tears” (also presented in bare instrumental form on the flip side [B2]) has it all, from the euphonic synths arrangements to the no-nonsense, club-igniting jack and irresistible footwork, via the infectious bass and Chicago-style soulfulness of its vocals. Proper fiery number and absolute weapon for any DJ seeking either impactful elegance in a peak-time context or to rekindle the flame when the after gets a bit too prosaic and requires that extra funky boost to get back on tracks. Grooviness exemplified.

More of a straightforward affair, A2 “Essential” unflappably beckons us on the path of utter vaporous escapology with its pulsating tableau of FX-soaked machine talk, semi-acidic bass and zero-G synthwork painting the sky all shades of pastel. The result is a rather captivating piece of weightlessly intuitive though carefully engineered sonic daydream. Injecting further oomph to the groove, B1 “Come On” pulls out a symbiotic collage of Sino-flavoured melody, Stax-ian vox sampling and straight out Detroit house-indebted propulsion, neatly showcasing both Massiande’s broad spectrum of influences and that idiosyncratic take of his on the said genres’ tried-and-tested leitmotivs.

Titoffee & Jessie Cherry – Ma Bouche Dit Oui EP (Les Disques Du Bord De L’Eau)

Ma Bouche Dit Non (My Mouth Says No) and Black in Black Out are songs composed by Jessie Cherry, a Belgian handpan artist based in the Brussels area. Jessie wrote these pieces following an uncomfortable and unacceptable personal experience. Through writing and letting her hands flow on the handpan, she embarked on a musical journey of healing, joined by Titoffee, who brings his distinctive style and compositional touch to the project.

A bonus track enriches this collaboration, inspired by Titoffee’s journey in Colombia. It is a sacred poetic tribute to the Sierra Nevada, drawing on the region’s ancestral wisdom. The piece evokes the wind singing through the mountains, the guardianship of the Sierra, and the harmony between nature and spirit — celebrating Colombia as a living altar where earth, water, fire, and sky meet.

This EP is the fruit of a long-standing collaboration between the two artists, revealing a deep and introspective musical journey, set for release on 17 December 2025.
