Aaron Sevilla, Juany Bravo, Lubó & Toth de la Vega – Sun Showers (Kindisch Records)
The next release from Kindisch finds producers Aaron Sevilla and Juany Bravo joining forces with vocalist Lubó and guitarist Toth de la Vega for the superb new single ‘Sun Showers.’
Juany Bravo is a self-taught producer who mixes Latin-influenced grooves with tribal percussion and elements of disco, classic house and hip-hop on labels like Nervous and Toolroom. He collaborates here with Mexican Aaron Sevilla, who frequently tops the Afro and Latin House Charts at Beatport and Traxsource and is a vital player in his native underground scene. Another Mexican, Toth de la Vega adds further richness to this new single. He’s a DJ, producer and musician who has released on mighty labels like King Street Sounds. Completing the quartet is Slovak singer and songwriter Lubó, a fellow new school star whose voice has lent real emotion to a range of house tracks.
The glorious ‘Sun Showers’ is perfectly warm and welcoming right from the off. The open-air house grooves are sprinkled with organic percussion, shuffling drums and inviting kicks. Soft shakers and finger clicks make for a loose-limbed rhythm while the gorgeous vocal is filled with soul. It adds up to a most heartfelt sound with dusty atmospheres and an emotional longing that makes an indelible mark.
This is a typically fresh and emotive house single from Kindisch.
Aerton Aiho – Habits EP (Curated. Records)
Release Date(s): 18th November 2022
Rising Bulgarian talent Aerton / Aiho follows releases on Nervous Records, Time Has Changed, Distance Music and several others with a stunning addition to his catalogue as he launches his own underground label, Curated, with a delightfully deepened two-track EP – ‘Habits’.
Kicking things off with the title track, ‘Habits’ opens the show with punchy jackin grooves and catchy musicality from the outset. Minimalist percussion adds character to the mix alongside resonant tones and reverberated vox injections as it continues to build a funky core. A track with atmospheric soundscapes and instrumental flair, it’s a guaranteed vibe-builder.
‘Neck & Wrist’ rounds off the release with more chunky late-night grooves from the off. A hearty kick and sub-bass combo bring swing to the mix whilst delicate layers of melody ripple throughout the track’s journey. Vibrant synth stabs and effecting fills pulsate deep into its core, supplemented by layers of crisp percussive variance and subtle vox splashes, keeping you on your toes from start to finish.

‘Catch My Groove’ goes hard with no-nonsense 4/4 drums, flaring hi-hats, and a heavy bassline. Spacey pads, synths licks, and swanky vocal chops bring it all together into a proper groover.

Addi Stefansson & Electroblaze feat. Janet Taylor – Tip Jar (Nesh Recordings)
Release Date: – Friday, November 25 2022 (Pre Order 18 November)
Record Sounds Like: Deep House, Classic Deep House
The new release “Tip Jar” by Austrian-based Icelander Addi Stefansson and Wiesbaden based DJ/producer Electroblaze found its origins in a jam session after the last Lockdown.
Electroblaze had his field recorder in the right place at the right time and recorded the
vocal of “Janet Taylor” when she asked the audience during a short break to throw a little
tip in the Jar of the musicians who had been beaten by Corona.
Hence the title Tip Jar.
The idea of the house track was to create the atmosphere of a jam session. The vocal is
carried by deep piano sounds and a groovy bassline.
Artist Quote – “Born from a field recording at a jazzy jam session and refined by the international collaboration of the artists.”

Josh Richards is an Australian artist who dropped his first ever release via Flow Music and is making a return to the imprint with a spine-tingling follow up. His first release on the imprint was orientated around melodic house/techno, but this latest offering shows of his deeper and more organic side to his sound.
On remix duty is melodic house legend Anthony Pappa, who is an Australian artist known for his compilation mixes for brands such as Global Underground and Renaissance. He has also produced tracks for record label’s such as John Digweed’s Bedrock.
Jamie Stevens is a fellow Australian who has previously collaborated with Anthony Pappa to produce tracks for imprints such as Dave Seaman’s Selador. He has also dropped productions on highly influential imprints ranging from Guy J’s Lost & Found to Lee Burridge’s All Day I Dream.

Anthony Pappa and Jamie Stevens remix lifts the tempo and beefs up the drums as it unfolds to gradually introduce the original’s melodic elements. The epic breakdown holds mesmerising suspense before plunging back into the moody atmosphere and tribal energy of the percussive sections.
