Release 215 on Ready Mix Records comes courtesy of a pair of hot young French producers, Mooglie & Sasson with remixes from Cee ElAssaad, Music P & Mozaik.
Already boasting a busy European tour schedule and solo releases supported by the likes of Black Coffee and Nick Warren, Sasson is a young artist to watch on the electronic scene. Produced with fellow Parisian up-and-comer Mooglie, opening track ‘Indian Rhapsody’ is a potent slice of melodic, energetic, tribal-tinged progressive house.
Ultra-talented afro-house producer Cee ElAssaad provides the track’s first remix, lending it his distinctive ‘Voodoo’ magic, full of dense percussion and insistent, harmonious arpeggios.
German artist Music P turns in a compact, delightfully deep version, designed to keep heads nodding and feet shuffling in the early hours.
Last but not least, the brothers Mozaik deliver a genre-bending rework of ‘Indian Rhapsody’, somewhere between breaks, techno and electro in its aesthetic. Can progressive electro-tech breaks be a thing? They can now.

Debuting on Position Obscure Recordings, Parcel’s ‘Airing’ EP explores motifs of isolation and symmetry, layered over systematic hypnotic rhythms. Parcel explores the relationship between melody and spatial awareness on side 1 “Airing”, while side 2 “Erutan” lends an alternative shade of analysis; furthering Parcel’s deep exploration into sound design in relation to environment.

Artist Bio:

Parcel has acted as an essential producer, supplying Los Angeles’ underground with memorable late night / early mornings for well over 10 years. Currently residing in Downtown Los Angeles, Parcel, aka Tarek Nasr, has delicately crafted an approach to melodic exploration through essential remixes and original productions. In 2020, Parcel will release his latest EP “Airing,” coinciding with the launch of his record label, Position Obscure Recordings.
Since 2013, Parcel has released a stream of remixes and original productions in both North American and abroad, including releases for Motek, Cenote Records, Loco Records, and Death Proof Recordings. Remixes have included songs by Billie Eilish, the XX, Of Monsters and Men, Bibio and has played alongside acts like Bedouin, Jan Blomqvist, SBTRKT, and Moby.

Hoods – Desire EP (Matchbox Records)

Argentinean based producer Hoods gives us this skippy little number reminiscent of his releases on the likes of Cyclic Records, Rendr & Hedzup Paris.
With microhouse influences he combines a subtle blend of deep house and minimal composed grooves and we love this one for its weird and wonderful leads.
