VA – Deep Value Vol.7 (Bondage Music)

A staple of the German dance scene since 2007, Bondage Music reads like a who’s who of House. Heavyweights such as Markus Homm, Steve Bug, and NTFO rub shoulders with newer talents like Dust Yard, Dilby, and Rangø, all connected by their love of the music and their outstanding studioskills.

For the seventh installment of the Deep Value series label heads, Pornbugs piece together a new sonic journey through deephouse, tech and minimal featuring 17 new cuts from celebrated labelmates Frink, Mihal Popoviciu, Arkady Antsyrev, Sascha Dive and more highlighted here across six special cuts.

Starting off with the deep space funk of Nicola Brusegan and Steve Hammer’s ‘Dance Like It’ bumpy bass and crisp percussion framework airy filter sweeps perfect for those early set warm up sounds. Next Mihal Popoviciu uses all of his dancefloor knowledge on the deep tech groove of ‘Nipon’. Seriously catchy while devistatingly sparse, this one gets under your skin and doesn’t let go!

Adding that classy deep house vibe to the mix, Jürgen Kirsch keeps it hypnotic and dubby on ‘Into The Blue’. Pornbugs make their appearance next with the techy ‘Artica’. Juxtaposing the chunk with some seriously cool piano chords, the track sidesteps all the obvious clichés. Alexander Matachak intensifies the vibe with the dark twisted groove of ‘Tripping Out’ a perfect mid set bruiser built for finding your spot and getting lost in the music!

Rounding out the sampler is the irrepresible Sascha Dive and his ode to the deeper side of Detroit – ‘Motorcity Groove’. Sultry saxophones wail into the night as the stabs feel like a moving train motioning along with the percussive undertow of the track. Simply put: perfection.

When Be Adult Music discovered MRSFLV and her new EP, they were immediately impressed by her talent and unique sound.

Finally “Beautiful Others EP” is out on BAM and the label is extremely proud to share this release with the community.

Estonias Kyka is back on the label showing off eclectic talents.

Cold Hugs/Flashligts could easily been released on Plastic CIty back in the days when The Timewriter and Terry Lee Brown Jr ruled the deephouse scene.

4 Da People – WAR (Grey City Records)

Daze Prism – Sarky Cut EP (Paille Records)

Daze Prism joins Paille Records with ‘Sarky Cut’, a driving two-tracker. The EP title track lays down straight heavy drums, synths licks and funk-centric bass plucks and vocal chops. The overall track has air to it and an uplifting energy tailored for the dance floor. On the flip side, ‘All U Need’ goes deeper with a stripped-back 4/4 rhythm section, a rolling bassline, and spacey synths. An absolute driving force.
