Jim Rider & RAMMÖ – Esperança EP (When We Dip XYZ)

XYZ is a record label ran by the team behind the When We Dip website, and the imprints new release is from Jim Rider & RAMMÖ.
Alongside the two original tracks, the EP also features separate remixes from Madmotormiquel and Sound Shapes who separately add their stamp to the shamanistic vibe of the two originals.
London’s Jim Rider has been a regular feature on XYZ in addition to working on other labels such as TRYBESof, Klassified, and Kindisch who have all showcased his enchanting style of deep house. This time he is working in collaboration with Dutch artist RAMMÖ who previously featured on the likes of Klassified.
On remix duty, Madmotormiquel is a stalwart of Berlin’s underground music scene and who has previously contributed tracks and remixes to Katermukke, Bar 25 Music, Sol Selectas and Einmusika. Once again, he expresses his deep and trippy style with this stunning rework.
Second of the remixes is from Italy’s Sound Shapes who are a duo known for their cosmic tracks on other imprints ranging from Pipe&Pochet to Stil Vor Talent.
All four of the tracks on this EP are deep and melodic with organic textures and captivating melodies that enchant a dance floor with mystic vibes and spellbinding atmosphere.

The story acquires a softer ending with bValtik’s remix, which comes with a softer version of the original.
Rogerio Martins – Vale (Piston Recordings)
Piston Recordings celebrates our 600th release with a sublime deep house joint from label boss Rogerio Martins entitled, Vale. It was just over 14 years ago that Rogerio set out to fill a void in the underground music scene in Portugal. He has succeeded his mission, turning Piston into an internationally recognised brand.
The label is proud to represent a new breed of artist, nurturing raw talent while drawing in legendary names. The journey continues, and Rogerio remains committed to ensuring that only the finest grooves get the exposure they deserve. For this milestone, we’ve enlisted 4 producers from our roster to get to work on remix duties and, as ever, the results are outstanding. Here’s to another 600 releases, and more.
The release opens with the vibrant, floor-filling Original Mix. Driven by a tight drum arrangement, with a groove laced in swirling, filtered pads and sublime piano chord stabs.
Up next we have a solid remix from French duo B&S Concept, who return fresh off the back of their debut, It’s So Good EP. The interpretation here delves into the groovier side of deep house, with a funky flavour throughout. Cool vocals join a chorus of bright synths, smooth sax and an infectious bassline.
Our very own stalwart, Ritz, is up on remix duties with yet another fine example of his brand of deep house music. Smooth and atmospheric, the groove is pure and mesmerizing thanks to tight beats, warm analogue basses and layers of captivating pads.
We welcome Col Lawton back to PR with a superb remix, which follows his last effort on the remix for msolnusic’s Some Signals EP. Here, he injects a dose of energy into the groove, taking us to the floors with gusto. Sharp, rhythmic percussions and chunky beats lead as bright synth stabs combine with mesmeric arps and a subby bass.
South Africa based artist BNinjas makes a return to PR and rounds out the release with solid effort. Punchy kicks and exotic percussions join a strong bassline while deep, moody chords set the tone. Deep and raw, perfect for the late-night session.
Jessie Rey – Sharm El-Sheikh (Paradiz Records)

Simon Pagliari – Move Your Body (Kiko Records)
Sometimes a certain track has all the elements working together so well that the name itself describes the listener’s instant action.
Simon Pagliari brings forth a fantastic piano-driven House track that has us all moving and dancing along with beat by beat. Alongside this single comes Four unique remixes that get us moving our body in different rhythms.
