Anthony Mea – Kozomu EP (Personal Belongings)
Anthony Mea is back again Personal Belongings. After releasing his first EP in the label last May and joining forces in a few summer showcases, ‘Kozomu’ arrives combining his Deep House reminiscences with his new organic, smoother sound on this 2-track EP.
‘Kozomu’, the title track, is a throwback to the classic Anthony Mea sound – perfect for the Deep, Dub lovers hungry for catchy grooves and restless rhythm.
‘Satellite’ is the B-side, showing the versatility of the Italian producer as he steps into a more organic, ethereal territory that captivated him in the recent months.

Nick Holder – Dance, Dance, Dance (Definitive Recordings)
Definitive Recordings proudly presents a long-awaited milestone: the first-ever digital release of ‘Dance, Dance, Dance’ by Nick Holder’s Fruit Loops project, originally released in 1995 and repressed countless times on vinyl since. This timeless house anthem, a pure expression of disco-driven groove, now returns remastered and refreshed — accompanied by two brand-new remixes from fellow Toronto house legends Jason Hodges and Trackheadz.
The original version of ‘Dance, Dance, Dance’ captures the raw magic of mid-90s house — a stripped yet irresistible jam that fuses classic 70s disco sampling with a deep, rolling bassline and a straight house groove. It’s simple, it’s soulful, and it’s pure disco-house sexiness.
Jason Hodges delivers a playful rework that modernizes the cut while keeping its soul intact. His remix adds shuffled percussion, chopped vocals, and a subtly reworked bassline — injecting a fresh rhythmic twist that stays true to the track’s roots while enhancing its dancefloor punch. Trackheadz then takes the track into deeper territory, layering lush synth chords, organ lines, and sweeping strings over a steady, hypnotic build — a masterclass in musicality and atmosphere for the late-night crowd.
A true veteran of Toronto’s house scene, Nick Holder rose to international acclaim in the late ’90s and early 2000s with releases on Definitive, NRK, Stickmen, and Studio K7, shaping the sound of deep and soulful house. As the founder of DNH Records, he’s been a driving force behind countless underground classics, including ‘Da Sambafrique’, ‘Trying to Find Myself’, and ‘Summer Daze’.
Jason Hodges, another staple of the Toronto underground, is known for his tough yet groovy sound that bridges New York swing and Chicago grit. Having remixed the likes of DJ Sneak, Derrick Carter, DJ Heather, and Kaskade, Hodges continues to be a name synonymous with timeless, floor-filling house. Trackheadz, helmed by Nick Holder as well, is a project with deep roots in Toronto’s house community. Re- launched in 2016 by Holder together with Tyrone Solomon, founder of the influential 83 West Records, and long-time collaborator Martino Lozej they continue the project’s legacy of blending sweet strings, soulful brass, and deep club energy.
Nearly three decades on, ‘Dance, Dance, Dance’ still grooves as hard as ever — now revitalized for the next generation of house lovers.

Franksen’s original track is a masterclass in sophisticated groove, weaving intricate jazz inflections through a pulsating deep house framework, delivering a lush soundscape driven by hypnotic rhythms and soulful melodies that feel both classic and contemporary. Meanwhile, Platzdasch transforms the original into an organic powerhouse, infusing it with live session instrumentation that breathes new life into the composition, boasting a rich tapestry of warm basslines, shimmering keys, and percussive nuances for a truly immersive and tactile listening experience.
Ultimately, this dual offering delivers a profound auditory journey, making both tunes essential listening for discerning lovers of the deep house sound.

Pat Lezizmo & Rawdio – Viaduct EP (Muzik & Friendz)

The release is steeped in deep, groovy house music. The title track “Viaduct” is a sultry cut, driven by a laidback groove and smooth, enveloping synths. The second track, “Concrete Jungle,” takes on a grittier edge, drawing inspiration from 90s house sounds.
Both tracks are primed for the dance floor, tailored for DJs and clubgoers worldwide.

Rami & Cezar Aragon – Maiana (IZIKI Music)
Rami and Cezar Aragon team up to deliver the high energy tribal banger “Maiana”, and throws 3 top shelf remixes into the blend.
Ancestral Soul founder Rami, formerly known as Queen Rami, collaborated with Mexican producer Cezar Aragon to craft a potent blend of driving Afro grooves, tech-infused stabs, and an entrancing female vocal. The result is Maiana — a track that pulses with power and spirit.
To elevate the release, Rami invited three of her favorite producers to put their spin on the original. Colombian artist Dum K, Zamna resident Leonardo (MX), and Italian producer Loudr each deliver a remix that brings their unique flavor to the dance floor.

4 Da People – Batucada (Grey City Records)
With Batucada, 4 Da People land on Grey City Records with a statement of intent: a sun‑kissed, rhythm‑driven fusion of Deep House, Latin House and Tech House that feels equally tuned for late‑night floors and warm‑up terraces. Dropping worldwide on December 25th, 2025 across all digital download stores and streaming platforms, this EP arrives perfectly timed for those end‑of‑year parties where you want sweat, smiles and a touch of sophistication.
At the core of Batucada is a deep, rolling house groove, but what really defines the release is its Latin heartbeat. The percussion is upfront and tactile – congas, shakers and toms interlock in busy but precise patterns, giving the rhythm section that live, hand‑played feel. Underneath, a warm, rounded bassline snakes through the mix, more felt than heard at times, creating a low‑end cushion that DJs will love to ride for extended blends.
Melodically, 4 Da People lean into a sexy and melodic sensibility rather than big‑room theatrics. Subtle chord stabs, gently evolving synth lines and atmospheric pads float above the drums, giving the track a deep, immersive character. There’s a clear understanding of tension and release: elements are introduced and withdrawn with a DJ’s touch, allowing the groove to breathe and build without ever feeling crowded. The result is an arrangement that feels alive – constantly moving, but never losing its hypnotic center.
What stands out across the EP is the way Batucada is reinterpreted in different forms without losing its identity. The additional versions push the original idea into more specific dancefloor scenarios – one leaning into stripped, techy pressure; another embracing a more expansive, melodic flair – yet all share that recognizable rhythmic DNA. Rather than feeling like add‑ons, these variations deepen the concept, offering DJs several ways to tell the same story depending on time of night and crowd energy.
The overall mood is unmistakably warm and groovy, but there’s a deeper emotional undercurrent running through the release. The chords and leads carry a touch of nostalgia without slipping into cliché, giving the music that “eyes‑closed on the dancefloor” vibe that defines many classic Deep House records. At the same time, the drums remain punchy and energic, ensuring Batucada never drifts into mere background music – it wants to move bodies.
For Grey City Records, Batucada is the kind of EP that feels both DJ‑friendly and listener‑friendly: functional enough to hold its own in a set, detailed enough to reward a proper home listen. For 4 Da People, it’s a confident showcase of how Latin influences, deep atmospheres and tech‑driven structure can fuse into something genuinely sexy and modern without losing soul.
Come December 25th, expect Batucada to slip quietly but firmly into the crates and playlists of those who know – the selectors searching for tracks that feel timeless, tactile and irresistibly groovy.
