The Black & White EP is a refined affair, balancing late-night sophisticated grooves with deep house class.
The title track ‘Black & White’ opens the EP with a sleek groove laced with shimmering chords, crisp percussion, warm guitar licks, evolving textures and subtle melodic flourishes that give the track a timeless feel, bridging classic deep house with contemporary sound design
As the name suggests, this one is pure after-hours gold. Drenched in dubby atmosphere and sparse melodic accents, ‘Take It Slow’ rides a soft groove with a hypnotic feel. Guerriero strips things back to the essentials, creating a dreamy soundscape anchored by a rounded low end and gentle rhythmic patterns, perfect for the introspective sunrise/sunset sessions.
Swedish artist 07:08 doesn’t just remix ‘Take It Slow’; he transforms it by inserting his own vocals and a deeper sense of narrative. This version is a spacious piece that maintains the dubby core of the original but injects it with lush textures, added drive, and layers of passionate weight.
‘Solodasolo’ picks up the energy while still rooted in deep house elegance. Crisp percussion, intricate keys, moody chords and a grooving low end make this one a versatile cut that balances musicality with movement effortlessly.
Spanish maestro Deephope enhances ‘Solodasolo’ with his unmistakable touch. He introduces extra layers of organic percussion, a more pronounced swing, and richer keys; giving the remix a livelier, more dynamic pulse.
